Movement
There are two sets of direction keys:

They can be combined with modifier keys like so:
Direction | Walk one step in direction, attack adjacent monster |
Shift-Direction | Run in direction until disturbed |
Alt-Direction | Use last command in that direction |
Other commands
L, Numpad-5, Enter | Rest one turn, select menu item |
Shift-L, Shift-Numpad-5 | Rest until fully healed or disturbed |
C | Close door |
U | Use item |
D | Drop item |
T | Throw item |
X | Swap—re-equip last unequipped item |
Q | Exit level after finishing quest |
Shift-F | Forfeit level |
